AEG Dishwasher Microwave Bundle Campaign: Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions were last amended [13.02.2023]

1. Purchase any AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM and get an AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS for free! (“the Promotion”).
   
   
2. This promotion is run by: AEG South Africa (Pty) LTD a division of Electrolux (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
   
   
3. Upon successful purchase of AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM, AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS for free by the participating selected retailer where the promo appliance was being bought at no extra cost to the customer.
   
   
4. By entering the promotion, all participants confirm that they have read and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
   
   
5. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Media platform
   
   
6. WHEN DOES THE PROMOTION START AND END AND WHAT ARE THE MECHANICS?
   
   
7. The promotion period runs from 16 Feb 2023 until 28 Feb 2023 or while stocks last. The promotion commences on 16 Feb 2023  and ends 28 Feb 2023 or while stock last, both days inclusive. The promotion closes at 23:59:59 on 28 Feb 2023 or while stocks last.
   
   a) AEG can terminate this promo at any time based on stock supply.
   b) AEG reserves the right to withhold stock and pricing thereof.
   
   
8. The Mechanic / How to Participate:
   
   i. Purchase any AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM and receive an AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS for free for free: ** see point 12 for Participating retailers.
   
   ii. Customer buys the selected model during the month of Feb 2023 (as per above mentioned dates on point 7)
   
   iii Customer is to be issued a free gift “AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS”
   
   iv. Customer can get the above free gift from the selected participating retailer that they have bought their selected participating Dishwasher models
   
   v. If a specific selected retailer doesn’t have stock of any of the promo item “AEG Selected Dishwasher” models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM, then it would a discretion between that specific selected retailer and the customer to arrange the stock and not a responsibility of AEG (refer to 7 (a) and (b)
   
   vi. The free gift “AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS” is to be issued immediately to the customer by that specific selected retailer not unless the retailer and a customer make their own arrangement / agreement.
   
   vii. Customer can buy as many of the selected promotional items (models) as needed
   
   viii. AEG South Africa reserves the right to change the duration of the promotion, subject to these terms and conditions, if it is deemed necessary due, for instance, to circumstances beyond their control such as acts of God, changes or new interpretations of legislation, or any other unforeseen event.
   
   ix. Once the capacity has been met, the retailer will be made aware and / or when the promo date has ended.

9. WHO MAY ENTER THE PROMOTION?
   
   i. South African citizens, as well as legal foreign nationals in South Africa may enter the promotion.
   
   ii. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
   
   iii. Consumers purchasing AEG selected cooking appliances at participating retailers (the “Participating retailers) only residing within the boundaries of the Republic of South Africa.
   
   iv. By participating in this promotion, all participants and winners acknowledge that they have the legal capacity to enter and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Promoters. The Promoters’ decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. WHO MAY NOT ENTER THE PROMOTION?
    
    i. All South African citizens, as well as legal foreign nationals in South Africa may enter the promotion.

11. THE GIFT
    
    a) The AEG gift consists of:
    
    i. Purchase any AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM and get  an AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS for free): ** see point 12 for participating retailers.
    
    ii. Customer buys the selected model during the month of Feb 2023 (as per above mentioned dates on point 7)
    
    iii. Customer is to be issued a free gift “AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS”
    
    iv. Customer can get the above free gift from the selected participating retailer that they have bought their Purchase AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM
    
    v. PARTICIPANTS MAY ENTER THE PROMOTION BY:
    
    vi. Purchasing an AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM at a Participating retailer store between 16 February 2023 and ends on 28 February 2023 (valid while stock last) below:

13. GIFT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
    
    i. AEG gifts cannot be transferred or converted into cash.
    
    ii. Gifts are not limited per customer, customer can buy as many *participating appliance from **participating retailer
    
    iii. AEG South Africa reserves the right to request a Participant’s ID document and physical proof of purchase before handing over a gift to confirm the winner’s identity and product purchased.
    
    iv. AEG South Africa (Pty) Ltd will not be responsible for insuring the products or any additional costs relating to the usage, delivery of the products or up keep of the products selected on or before the handover of such products unless falling within the AEG range warranties.
    
    v. The gift will be awarded to the person that entered the competition and who is in lawful possession of a valid till slip, valid driver’s license and a valid South African ID Document. Participants will be required to identify him or herself by presenting a valid South African ID book, before the gift can be redeemed.
    
    vi. The selected retailer is to issue a customer a free gift AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS upon a customer’s successful purchase of the AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM (refer to point 8)
    
    
14. NOTIFICATION OF PROMOTION
    
    i. It is the sole duty of the customer to ensure that they collect their free Item AEG 42L Microwave model MFS4245SOS from that specific selected retailer upon successful purchase of their item AEG Selected Dishwasher models FFB83836PM, FFB63700PM, FFB83706PM, FFB83701PM
    
    ii. AEG will not be responsible for any free item not collected from the retailer
    
    iii. Participating Retailers Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter accounts, may be used in other public announcements of the winners, as well as in future promotional material, unless a winner expressly asks AEG not to do so.
    
    iv. AEG has the right to end this promotion at any time. If this happens, AEG will publish a notice to participating retailer and all Participants agree to waive (give up) any rights that they may have with regards to this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no rights against AEG.
    
    v. AEG reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the promotion.
    vi. AEG will publish changes to these terms and condition on AEG’s Instagram page/ AEGSouthAfrica).
    
    vii. It is each Participant’s responsibility to check the websites for amendments to these terms and conditions.
    
    viii. Participants will not hold AEG liable for any technical errors originating from AEG, the hosting website, Facebook.com or any other service provider.
    
    ix. Should any Participant be found to be in contravention of any of these terms and conditions or in the opinion of AEGs, be engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of AEG, then AEG reserves the right to disqualify such a Participant on written notice.
    
    x. Information collected from Participants will be used by AEG only and will not in any way be transferred or made available to third parties. The clauses in these terms and conditions are severable. This means that if any clause in these terms and conditions is found to be unlawful, it will be removed, and the remaining clauses will still apply.
    
    xi. Wherever time has been referred to in these terms and conditions, it refers to GMT +2.
    
    xii. These terms and conditions and the promotion are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
    
    xiii. AEG accepts no liability for any further and or additional costs and/or expenses in relation to delivery of the prize, and the winner indemnifies Electrolux, the Participating retailers, its Directors, employees, shareholders and agents against any claim of whatsoever nature howsoever arising.

15. DISPUTES

1. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the promotion administrators is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. REJECTION AND FORFEITURE OF GIFT

1. If the participant/s fail/s to comply with any of these rules or the terms of acceptance of the gift, or if they refuse to sign the Promoter/s winner/s declaration or the Promoter/s winner/s gift acceptance form, this will be construed as a rejection of the gift and then, without prejudice to any other remedy which the Promoter/s may have, the winner will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit the gift.
